Place Value is a lot like Parking Spaces. Parking spaces can only hold ONE car at a time; place values only hold one DIGIT at a time.

Ta-da!
So many moons ago, say back in April or May, I realized taht I was coming up with all these ideas for my next classroom. But I did not have a place to put them, and my memory is not a safe storage facility these days! So I created a folder in my Hotmail accout, and would type out, and send myself these ideas as they came to me. The problem with that is, even with a seperte folder, I'm afraid I would never muddle through all the messages. Plus, that didn't lend itself to an easy format to share these brilliant ideas with others, nor for them to share theirr ideas.
Thus, I created this blog. Ahhh, sweet technology!
So, while this is by no means meant to be the end-all be-all spot for finding Great Teaching Ideas, it is a place for ME to hold on to my wacky thoughts, share them with fellow teacher friends, and steal some of their ideas in the process.
